Relational, Anti-Oppressive Evaluation

We offer rigorous methodological expertise grounded in a relational, anti-oppressive, trauma-informed approach that distinguishes our work from that of many evaluators.

Rooted Impact Solutions Evaluation began with a simple belief: meaningful change grows from strong relationships, deep listening, and clarity about what truly matters. Too often, evaluation feels extractive, overwhelming, or disconnected from the people doing the work. RISE was created to offer something different - evaluation that is grounded, human, and genuinely useful. We partner with organizations that want to learn, adapt, and honor the communities they serve.

Our approach is rooted in equity and shaped by the understanding that data is only powerful when it reflects lived experience and supports real decision‑making. This includes helping organizations use evaluation to strengthen their grant writing—clarifying outcomes, articulating impact, and building compelling, evidence‑based narratives that resonate with funders.

At RISE, we don’t just measure change—we help cultivate it. By offering thoughtful guidance, practical solutions, and a relational approach to evaluation, we support organizations in growing deeper, learning better, and rising higher.

We help clients win grants and deliver impact by designing evaluation plans that are:

  • Methodologically rigorous

  • Culturally responsive and equity‑centered

  • Aligned with funder expectations (foundations, NIH, NSF, global agencies)

  • Feasible for real-world implementation

  • Structured to support long-term learning and sustainability
